Welcome to Vac-Man Carpet Cleaning Ltd. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, communications, and promotional messaging via SMS and email. By booking a service, contacting us, or using our website (https://vacmanyxe.com), you agree to these Terms.

1. General Use

Vac-Man Carpet Cleaning Ltd. is a carpet cleaning company operating in Saskatoon, SK. Our services include but are not limited to:

- Carpet Cleaning

- Furnace and Duct Cleaning

- Upholstery Cleaning

- Email and SMS updates

These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users who access our services via our website, phone, in person, or through digital communications.

2. Messaging Terms (A2P Compliance)

By providing your phone number or email, you consent to receive the following types of communication from Vac-Man Carpet Cleaning Ltd.:

Transactional Messages: Appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates.

Promotional Messages: Special offers, seasonal campaigns, and service discounts.

3. Service Bookings

Appointments can be made via our website, phone, or text. While we strive to be on time, unforeseen delays (e.g., weather, traffic, prior jobs) may occur.

We understand that schedules change. However, missed appointments prevent us from serving other clients.

Notice: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty if you provide at least 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled arrival time.

Fees: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment, or failure to be present when we arrive, will incur a $100.00 Cancellation Fee.

4. Payment Terms

All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes.
- Methods: We accept cash, credit, and debit. We do not accept checks for residential jobs.

- Late Fees: Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. If payment is not received after 14 days from the service date, a late fee will apply.

- Late Fee Amount: A flat fee of $40.00 plus 5% interest will be added to the outstanding balance.

5. Furniture and Preparation

To ensure the safety of your belongings and our technicians:

Client Responsibility: We do not move furniture. You must remove all furniture and breakables from the carpeted area completely before our arrival.

Cleaning Around Furniture: If furniture is left in the room, we will clean around it.

Safety: For safety reasons, we do not allow clients or others to move furniture while we are actively working or while equipment is running.

6. Promotions & Discounts

From time to time, we may offer promotional pricing or discounts. These are:

Cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated

Valid only within specified timeframes and service areas

7. Liability and Damage

General Liability: We take extreme care and use professional techniques to avoid damage. However, Vac-Man Carpet Cleaning is not liable for accidental damage to furniture, household items, or property.

Pre-Existing Damage: We are not liable for any pre-existing damage to carpets, upholstery, furnaces, or ductwork (e.g., loose vents, torn fabric, existing structural flaws).

8. Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected (such as name, address, email, or phone number) is used solely for service delivery, communication, and marketing—if you have opted in.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except as necessary to provide our services (e.g., SMS/email platforms).

9. Satisfaction and Stain Guarantee

Stain Removal: Our technicians are highly trained in advanced stain removal. However, due to the nature of certain fabrics and substances, some stains cannot be removed and are not guaranteed.

Return Visits: If you are unsatisfied, please contact us immediately. We do not charge a service charge for repeat visits to address a concern.

Exclusions: If additional treatments (beyond the standard clean) are required during a return visit, those specific treatments are not covered under the guarantee and may incur additional costs.

10. Specific Service Clauses

A. Furnace and Duct Cleaning

Access: Clear access to all vents and the furnace unit is required. If clear access is not available at the time of the job, we reserve the right to omit cleaning specific vents that cannot be safely or easily reached.

B. Upholstery Cleaning

Previous Cleaning Attempts: Please inform us if you have attempted to clean stains yourself. Chemical reactions from consumer-grade products can set stains permanently. We are not responsible for discoloration or inability to remove stains caused by previous DIY cleaning attempts.

11. Disputes

In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the issue through good-faith negotiation. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration or Small Claims Court in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

12. Website Use

Misuse or disrupt the website

Attempt unauthorized access to administrative areas

Use our content for commercial gain without permission

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for violations of these Terms
